Swerve is a homegrown company, and our happy customers have been baking and cooking with our natural, zero-calorie sugar replacement for years. We knew they wanted an easier way to whip up tasty Swerve-sweetened treats on a whim for birthdays, bake sales, or you know, Tuesdays. So we created Swerve Sweets, a mix-and-bake way to sweeten up every day.
What you Need:
3 large eggs
1/3 cup oil
1/3 cup water
1 tbsp vanilla
Makes one 8″ round cake or 12 cupcakes.
PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
PREP by greasing cake pan with butter or applying parchment paper to the bottom of the pan. For cupcakes, add paper liners to muffin cups.
WHISK together eggs, water, oil and vanilla in large bowl. Add baking mix and stir until combined.
POUR or SCOOP batter into prepared bake pan or muffin cups.
BAKE cake for 25 – 30 minutes or cupcakes for 15 20 minutes. Let cool completely, then run a knife or spatula around the sides and bottom to loosen the cake. Remove from pan and place on a wire rack or cake stand for frosting.
Note: Use clear vanilla extract for a lighter, whiter cake.
